Marinate the fish with AJI-NO-MOTO® for 5 minutes.

Marinate the fish with seasoning ingredients, mix well.

Heat up oil and fry the fish until golden brown.

Serve with cucumbers or tomatoes and sambal kicap.

Soy Sauce Sambal
1

Combine toasted belacan with thick soy sauce, and smash.

Add in red onion, red chilli, bird’s eye chilli, and sugar, mix well.

Ready to serve.

Tip: Mackerel shouldn’t be fried for too long as the meat will be overcooked.
