Marinade the beef meat with ingredients (B) and (C) for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Heat the cooking oil in a pan and add in the lemongrass, pandan leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, star anise and cloves. Stir until fragrant.

Add in ground chili paste, stir until dry.

Stir in the sliced tomato, stir until soften.

Add in the marinated beef with the remaining of the marination and continue cooking until the beef soften.

Ready to serve.

Tips: You can add some water if you like gravy.
