Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil, sauté onion until golden brown. Keep aside.

With the same pan, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil, sauté the mushrooms until they release the water and begin to brown.

Add the onion, salt, AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper and thyme. Stir well and turn off the fire.

Whisk together the eggs and milk, keep aside.

To make the pie dough, rub together flour, shortening, butter and salt.

Add enough cold water to form the dough. Mix well.

Refrigerate for a while. Set oven at 180’Celsius.

Roll out pastry onto mould, prick with a fork and bake until a crust forms, 5-10 minutes. Let it cool for a while.

Place filling onto tart shell and pour egg mixture, top off with some shredded cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until top has browned a little.
