Fried Mackerel in Sambal Soy Sauce

Mix red onion, fish curry powder and salt in ingredients (B) into a bowl.

In another large bowl, bring in the well drained fish. Season it with AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper, salt and fish curry powder.

Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the fish. Remove and keep aside.

Remove the oil, leaving behind 2½ tbsp in the wok. Heat the oil. Bring in the onion mixture. Saute till onion turns translucent.

Add diced tomato. Continue stirring till tomato turns soft.

Add soy sauce and AJI-NO-MOTO®, stir till sauce is well mixed. Bring in the fried fish and gently stir till the fish is coated. Remove from fire.
